Summary

Opowieść heroiczna o sprawach przyziemnych

Tiktokowy fenomen i bestseller wykraczający poza ramy gatunku!

Legendy i Latte Travisa Baldree to ciepła, napawająca optymizmem, życiowa fantasy o nowych początkach i o rodzinie, którą wybieramy sobie sami。 Idealna dla fanów TJ Klune’a, Katherine Addison i T。 Kingfisher。

I wasn’t sure what to expect going into this。 I picked it up on a whim, but I was absolutely blown away。 This was such a cozy and comforting read。 A found family, coffee, and fantasy in a way I’d never read before。 Even for non-fantasy readers, I would highly recommend。

So cozyyy

A very cozy read that is nice to sandwich between some dense reading。 Thoroughly enjoyed the story and the characters。 Looking forward to the prequel later this year。

Bit tropey and obvios but boy does it not feel good to read。 It's definitely a warm cup of coffee you drink in a coffeeshop while people watching。 Bit tropey and obvios but boy does it not feel good to read。 It's definitely a warm cup of coffee you drink in a coffeeshop while people watching。 。。。more

Yep, okay, I get it。 Five stars for friends, kindness, coffee, cute guys who play the electric lute (lol), becoming the person you want to be, and giant cats。

She’d forsworn her old life, crossing a bridge to a new land, and now knelt in its ruin。 This was the bridge burning away behind her, leaving her in a desolation。 She tossed the blade back into the ash and took the only path that remained。" 。。。more

High fantasy, low stakes: pretty much covers it。 Read it in a single sitting, and exactly what I needed at the time。 Cosy, no serious fear of dramatic damage, and honestly just a delight to read。

This really was a cute cozy read。 Perfect for fans of high fantasy and similarly dnd。 The what happens after your character is down swinging a sword for years。 The beginnings of small business and it's challenges。 Not the worst book as I have seen some ratings and a quick read。 I am looking forward to how the slowest of burning relationships grow This really was a cute cozy read。 Perfect for fans of high fantasy and similarly dnd。 The what happens after your character is down swinging a sword for years。 The beginnings of small business and it's challenges。 Not the worst book as I have seen some ratings and a quick read。 I am looking forward to how the slowest of burning relationships grow 。。。more

“The earthy smell was slightly sweet—almost coffee-like。 She put the fragment on her tongue, and… it melted, spreading throughout her mouth。 She tasted dark bitterness, but with subtler flavors of vanilla, citrus, and in the far back, a hint of something that reminded her of wine。 It was bold, both creamy and harsh, but alluring。 … “… What is this?” He leaned forward, whiskers aquiver。 “Chocolate。” ("L&L", 172-173) Need I say more?!!! 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 Uff。 I want to love this book so bad, but i just don't。 The dnd-like world is great, the characters are really cool and the idea of the coffee shop in a fantasy world is awesome! This book is like a warm hug for fans of D&D。 Super cute story about an orc who is growing older and wants to retire from the adventuring business to open a gnomish coffee shop。 It is a delight from start to finish, with a charming cast of characters and some insight into being true to yourself and your own dreams。 Highly recommend for anyone looking for something a little lighter, and focused on the ordinary folk in a high fantasy setting。

Beautifully written, such a cozy read。 Never thought I would become so emotionally attached to the characters。 Cried my eyes out!

Charming and cozy but that's about it。 It's shallow but hey, it's DnD + animal crossing, so if that's what you need, it's here for you。 Charming and cozy but that's about it。 It's shallow but hey, it's DnD + animal crossing, so if that's what you need, it's here for you。 。。。more

I enjoyed reading this。 It was a quick and cozy read。 This is a story of finding your place, persuing your vision while meeting like minded people。 I wish the fantasy details would be more detailed or more of them in the book, I feel like if you take out the different races of the characters this could almost be a cute contemporary story。(view spoiler)[Also the romance, comes out of nowhere。 (hide spoiler)] I enjoyed reading this。 It was a quick and cozy read。 This is a story of finding your place, persuing your vision while meeting like minded people。 I wish the fantasy details would be more detailed or more of them in the book, I feel like if you take out the different races of the characters this could almost be a cute contemporary story。(view spoiler)[Also the romance, comes out of nowhere。 (hide spoiler)] 。。。more

I know its a nightmare corporation-owned hellscape I live in when owning a successful small business is as fantastical as Orcs and magic。I’m more appreciative that this book and books like it exists than I enjoyed the act of reading it。 Legends & Lattes accomplishes what it wants to do, but unfortunately what it wants to do is just a little boring to me。Its a bit outside my comfort zone of dark and weird fiction, and when I read fantasy I don’t normally read this type of D&D style of it, but I c I know its a nightmare corporation-owned hellscape I live in when owning a successful small business is as fantastical as Orcs and magic。I’m more appreciative that this book and books like it exists than I enjoyed the act of reading it。 Legends & Lattes accomplishes what it wants to do, but unfortunately what it wants to do is just a little boring to me。Its a bit outside my comfort zone of dark and weird fiction, and when I read fantasy I don’t normally read this type of D&D style of it, but I chose to read it because my fiancée is a manager at a local coffee shop and it reminds me of her (although upon telling her about this book she said it sounded kind of cringey, that’s my gal), and I of course like to challenge myself to read things I normally wouldn’t。This whole genre of ‘comfy fantasy’ that this has introduced me to is fascinating。 Stories that act as the idle mobile phone games for books; stress free, low stakes, feel good, and wholesome。 If you’re in a state of depression or feel like you’re about to emotionally fall apart, this might be something safe for you to read。 However, low stakes and stress free stories means nothing to get hooked by。 I definitely wasn’t engaged in a majority of the chapters。 I can only read so many pages of the characters inventing pastries and types of coffee that exists in our world but not theirs before I start to get bored。Maybe I just wasn’t in the right mood, but more likely just isn’t my cup of tea。 But, again, I’m in no way saying I didn’t like it。 Its what it intends to be, and you can see the skill involved in accomplishing that。 。。。more
